HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BRA SIZE

1. How Do Bra Sizes Work?

Your recommended GraceContour bra size combines a band number and a cup letter. Measure your Under Bust and Over Bust in inches, then use the GraceContour Size Chart to find your recommended size.

Because the chart contains specific measurement ranges, please do not estimate your cup size by subtracting one measurement from the other.

(1) What Does the Number in a Bra Size Mean?

The number represents your recommended GraceContour band size. It is based on a snug Under Bust measurement taken directly beneath the bust.

(2) What Does the Letter in a Bra Size Mean?

The letter represents your cup size. Find your cup result at the intersection of your Under Bust column and Over Bust row in the GraceContour Size Chart.

The cup size sequence is: A, B, C, D, DD/E, DDD/F, G, H, I.

2. Step-by-Step Guide to Measuring Your Bra Size

Step 1 — Measure Your Under Bust

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your rib cage, directly beneath your bust. Keep the tape level around your body without pulling it too tightly.

Step 2 — Measure Your Over Bust

Bend forward at approximately 45° and measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the measuring tape level and comfortably fitted without compressing your breast tissue.

Step 3 — Find Your GraceContour Size

Use your Under Bust and Over Bust measurements to locate your recommended size in the GraceContour Size Chart.

Please measure in inches. Half-inch measurements should be matched as follows:

  • Match an Under Bust measurement to the lower whole-inch chart value.

  • Match an Over Bust measurement to the next whole-inch chart row.

For the most accurate result, measure while wearing an unpadded bra or no bra.

General Fit Tips

  • Between sizes? We recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit — especially for wired bras or structured designs.
  • Looking for more stretch? Styles with mesh and elastic panels will hug your curves and offer more flexibility.
  • Prefer a sculpted look? Go for pieces with boning, wired cups, or firm mesh for a more snatched silhouette.
